Walking downstairs from the 5th floor of calle 82-34, edificio 50, barrio Laurelles, Medellin, you can follow the modified diamond shape inscribed in the floor tile. This pattern is repeated at a larger scale in the aluminum front gate, which is set off by large panels of pebbles.

Every surface is an opportunity to try out a pattern, every level of every floor an individual treatment. Stack those together and you have a sense of paisa houses.
